i was walking my dogs today and was wearing a tshirt and shorts with a couple of my kandies and this chick stops me and goes
"please tell me those bracelets on your arm dont mean you go to raves too"
and im like "um yeah i do is there a problem?"
and then she like steps back and goes
"no way ravers arent normal like that to be out walking their dogs. arent you guys like always high and wear weird things and are only happy at raves? and dont you guys like have weird hair and dont you guys have crazy makeup? you look like an every day girl how is it possible that you are a raver?
and im like
"are you fucking serious with me right now? where did you hear that bullshit? ravers are the nicest people you will ever meet and no we are not high all the time. and we wear crazy stuff to raves but we are normal people, YOU are the one who is weird"
like ugh she seriously pissed me off so bad i wanted to punch her in the face
we are normal people. we walk our dogs, go to the store, hang out with family and friends, just like everybody freaking else
it just so happens that we know how to have funn and self express
Fuck that dumb ass bitch yo! It just comes to show the insensitivity of others. And how certain individuals feel they have to judge or point the finger. Do none of this I say, and have a open mind and an open heart, and truly know, that you are the better person; cause you are.

i just took my friend to her first rave and she only knew the things she herd about raves and ravers. but that night changed her mind, its not at all what the media makes raves and ravers out to be. they are the nicest people i have ever met.
i rave, but im a normal person, i dress like a normal person and im going to school... i just happen to love electronic music and raving!
