Titles && Forum Names // __ Alternatives

Firstly, names on the forums are too long. And, very spamtastic. For example, my name; [ η о с s ] ▪ dgaf ▪, shortish, to the point, mostly. I suggest instead of letting the users don the choice of funny looking symbols, && whatever, follow the chat system, and use their Plurlife URL ending. So, I'd be only, Nocs.

As for titles - I believe you should have like, five set titles, like, "Jungle Fiend," "Kandi Kid," "True Believer," "Bass Junkie," "Rave Hoe," "Fresh Meat," whatever. That way, in the User CP, you can choose. Maybe even have it a game - after so many posts, a new title unlocks! Haha.

It's the best alternative I could think of. Hope this helps - I'd like to see this put into action.

Good ideas, but near impossible to actually do practically speaking.... would involve a lot of recoding for stuff that isnt on the top of the priority list.... however I have been searching for a solution for the chat for a while now.

as for member titles, you should have the option of putting whatever you want in it. Like after 1000 posts, I'd be able to put "Mexican Pirate" as my title.

it becomes a problem with the integration to plurlifes login. pretty much I dont wanna give the link out in masses cuz it might screw up something with the database.
