Paradise Island reviews?

Was pretty dope. Got in around 9, right when I got in I headed for the portapotties. Right as I got there I saw security bust a guy right when he got out of the portapotty, seemed pretty strict in the beginning. Chilled in the main stage which was electro, was dancing around to the beats and then when Show Me Love came on, I walked off the stage to go for a break outside. Came back in, KTN was alright, went to go check out Matt Hardwicks set, it was pretty sick, he laid down some hard beats. Suprised there wasn't that many people in the trance stage, but fuck it, more room for me to dance. Went to the room where the DJ's were spinning, talked to Talla 2xlc for a little bit, he was pretty funny. Went back to the trance room when Talla 2xlc was spinning, danced my fucking ass off to his set, at one point, I was the only person grooving to his music, but whatevers fuck it. All in all, they should've changed the name to Ptots Paradise.

I was thinking, since they announced the venue like 2 days before the event that not many people would show up. Was there a decent amount of people there?

There was a good amount of people. Enough for the inside of the place to get sweaty and hot, but not enough to where each stage was packed full of people a la 4/20.

It was pretty cool. The lack of people made it so you could wander around and see people you've met, dance with people you waited in line with, and find your ride more easily.

Security was tight, though. Before the freakin' venue even opened up, two kids were bein kicked out by security. It set a tone for the whole night. There were MANY busts.

The music was sick too. And it was nice-- earlier in the night no one was in the trance room, so me and my friend completely went crazy. Aha. The main stage was pretty empty for a while, too. Room to dance = love love love.

it was chill. it wasnt overly crowded which was good. i saw a couple people get busted. theres always gonna be people getting busted. fun night.
