I actually have met an amish guy on rumspringa at a rave once

I only saw him drinking. I don't think he was going "all out". I only talked to him for a few minutes but he seemed half way coherent at the time.

Devil's playground is a pretty interesting documentary about how Amish teens go live in the modern world once they turn a certain age (18 if I remember right). Then, they have to choose whether or not if they want to continue living that way or return to their families. If they don't return, they're ostracized and aren't ever allowed to go back. So glad I wasnt born Amish.
