Candyflip Productions is on the look out for reliable promoters!
So here's the deal. Show up at 3 events and promote for us, you do not have to attend the event you can simply show up to promote. After proving you're reliable, there's a great chance that we may be able to hook you up with some guest lists at certain events (you'll be expected to promote at these events).
The rules are simple:
1) we need you out as often as possible! if there is an event you would prefer to attend over another let us know in advance, so we may arrange to have ppl at the other event. Otherwise, please attend the events (at least to promote) that we request. You will be required to promote at all Massives, whether you attend the event or not, you will be needed to flier parking lots and hand out fliers to the thousands in attendence when they leave.
2) sobriety is highly recommended.
3) You must be outside at least 2 hours prior to the event's scheduled end time. 3-4 hours prior if cars are to be hit with fliers as well.
4) you MUST BE RELIABLE. The first event that you do not promote for as requested, you are cut from the team. (I'm sorry, but I'm not your mother. I'll do what I can to remind you to be when and where you need to, but it's really all up to you). It sounds harsh, but I said you had to be reliable.
5) you will be expected to work at the event that you are promoting for. Currently we are promoting Neverland, August 29th. You will be expected to show up for set up and stick around for break down, you may also be asked to work at the event itself. (you will be compensated for your time - compensation depends on you and how much effort you are willing to contribute.)
6) We would like it if you were only promoting for Candyflip. If you have other arrangements with other productions crews that will not interfer they can be discussed.
If there are any question please ask. Hit me up here, myspace, or Candykids.net (*starz*).
So you have to promote three times just to get on, then promote at every event you say or you get kicked off, then at all massives, just to get in to two events a year in which you still have to promote after and help setup and break down.
uhhhhh.

no, you have to promote 3 events to prove you're reliable (you might not believe how many ppl say they will and then they do 1 show and are never heard from again)
and like I said, compensation depends on you, we do a pretty good job getting our promoters guest listed to many events, yes we want you to promote at those events, but we are getting you in to them. Massives are required because we are talking about 50,000 ppl and their cars (with the exception of EDC which was 100,000)
of course excpetions can be discussed, like unable to make an event because...(we understand that ppl have lives not everyone is crazy and out promoting every weekend like us)
if you work the party other compansation can be discussed, I cannot make any monetary deals, that's not my department (it can be discussed with the man in charge, but I won't make any promises I can't keep), but there is the possibility of GL spots also.
we also help LA Hardcore United with their shows, so there is more possibility to be part of other events like; Hot & Cheesey and the infamous 5 Dolla Make Ya Holla.
sure thing! I'll talk to ppl and see what we can have you do for us up there!

no, no, no...if you become a regular promoter we're not talking just guest list to our event. We're talking guest list to as many events as we can get for you (massives included, but those are harder to come by). The regulars promoting this weekend are attending Fresh Squeezed and Almost Better Than Sex...for the cost of gas and 2-3 hours of their time at the end of the event. You wanna make $$$$$ work at the parties. Stick with us for a while, help us set up our events, help us break down our events, help us pull heads to our events by getting the word out...become an actual part of our crew family and then you can reap the rewards.
I'll look into the cost of sending fliers up to...I don't have GL connections in Norcal though...I'd feel bad not being able to compensate you in anyway...
