Makes me sad when people call PLUR a fad... :[

I was only introduced into the scene over a year ago and barely got taken to my first real rave this year... so I am fairly new....

However, that does not mean that I think PLUR is a trend within my life and will leave. I've always loved the idea of uncondtional love and peacefulness, in fact... the scene completely changed me. I look back on a year ago and realize I was so angry and depressed because every where I turned there was just so much hate and meanness! When I was introduced to PLUR and raving... all that changed cause I finally had a huge grip of people that believed the same things as me!

Lately though I've been noticing so many people hating on PLUR and Kandi Kids and saying their all fake and that it's just a trend... it makes me so sad! This entire scene changed so much for me and made me such a better person! I just wish they could only see what I see... I know all of you would agree with me so I had to vent it out.

Probably because 80% of them are fake. Just ask them how long they plan on raving. Most of them will say only for a few more years. In all reality they won't be around the following year cuz it was a fad/trend to them.

Yeah I guess you're right... as the years pass you get to see who the real ravers are and who is fake. It's not possible for me to leave the scene... it's too amazing <3

I don't just mean ravers that say PLUR is fake or raving is a trend... I mean people even outside the scene too...

When I say "fake" I mean people that come just for the party and don't care about the lifestyle or music.

i have so much respect for old school ravers but i just dont like how they think because they have been raving for + so many years means that we arent true ravers.

i mean, i completely respect your guys statements when you say these new ravers are ruining the scene because from what i've seen so far, they are.

but not ALL of us are trendy or here for drugs and being unplur fucks.



iv fallen in love with this lifestyle and do not plan on stopping it anytime soon.
i promote plur and from me to all the old schoolers, im sorry for what these new kids have done but embrace some of us a new schoolers because we respect the scene and just want to have a good time like you guys :]
