i dunno. EDC was the first massive i went to and i was only there for about 2 hours because my friend was security and got me in free. so i just went over to the DnB stage... didnt see much else

Well I haven't been going to massives that long but I can sure as hell say that they these companies are putting in tons of money on the lights and performers and pyro/fireworks. It seems like every massive is trying to be that much more over the top than the one before it

They have some pretty cool stuff, but the "massive" part of massives is blown way out of proportion now. So many people trying to get in as close as they can to the main stage, not enough room to dance or hang out unless you wanna be 75+ yards away from everything (using the football field measurements @ EDC as an example :P).

i totally understand what you are saying cirque du soleil artists.... go go dancers... fireworks... i'm glad we are getting a better bang for our buck. Our massives can finally compete with international massives. There is so much to do at these events and music to hear. I'm going to massives sober from now on. I would probably enjoyed and remembered the night so much more had i been sober.

when you're putting on such a massive event, you have to start incorporating stuff like that. ticket prices call for it!

all this shit has been being done at coachella for YEARS now. i remember seing prodigy years back and being blown away by the stage. its just that barely now the rave crews have enough money to do the same shit. seriously, coachellas production is fucking godly. the whole venue is a frytards wetdream. edc didnt get to this status till last year. monster massive and tao still look shitty/mediocre . nocturnal the last 2 years has looked fucking phenominal though. and jujubeats last year was like...holy shit! it was a mini edc minus the crowd lol

honostly, massive events should look super showy and have the best lighting, fx,sound, artists. youre paying an arm and a leg. you better get top notch right?

this years coachella had the best production imo. so much to do see and hear 1 day just wasnt enough. the main dance stage was fucking mindblowing during mstrkrft
