What do you consider to be a "Rave" these dayz???

Just curious.... Do you consider today's parties to be Raves or simply EDM concerts??? To all my old-skool peeps, what are you thoughts on the evolution of our beloved scene?

i voted the scene is dead cause i hardly show up to the strip shows....oh i mean raves anymore..

they are still raves, people still sell madd amounts of drugs and you still have madd amounts of kids on them.......

where raves will go...who knows

Im fairly new to the scene...so I don't know what it used to be like...
I don't see change as a bad thing. Everything changes and evolves.
Such is life. Hopefully raves will never die

From my 10 years, it has it's ups, its downs, goes around in a circle, some of it will always be the same & some of it always changes.
Ex:
There's too much of a variety of events to classify a particular type of party as "more" rave than another.
People have ALWAYS said "The scene is dead" or "it was better back when..." They've been saying it since the 90s!
What always changes: People aren't here for long. Crews come & go. Very few stick around cuz it's either a phase or just not for them.
