So at kandi festival I lost one of my lightshow gloves, its prolly gray cuz its dirty but its a white glove, it has all 7 rainbow inovas in it, one of the inova cases should be green and the rest black, its very important to me because the pair was a gift from my best friend/rave daughter, please message me if you found it or know someone who does, I'd be willing to pay for its return

Sorry to hear about you losing your gloves...I also lost a pair of mine at Kandy Festival -- 8 inovas, 2 flash tips, left in the drum and bass room right before the cops closed it down.

As far as the rainbow LEDs go, you can salvage both the LED and a pair of fresh batteries from the LED keychains they sell on dealextreme.com: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4241. The quality of the keychains isn't so hot, but you do get 7 of them for $4, plus free shipping. Be aware that it'll take like three weeks for them to actually arrive.

So, um, not to hijack the thread, but on the topic of lost gloves...if anyone finds mine, I'd greatly appreciate their return, too.

how long is the wire on those LEDs?

They're long enough to trim them down to iNova-length, probably about an inch on the negative leg and a quarter-inch on the positive.

The rule I usually use when modding LEDs for iNovas is that I look for a flattened section on each leg near where the leg meets the LED. I trim at the top of this section on the positive leg and at the bottom of this section for the negative one. This'll make them the right length as well as help you differentiate them when you plug them into the little iNova LED socket.

If it doesn't work the first time, just flip it around and try again. Good luck, and feel free to ask if you run into any trouble.

Ah, my apologies; reading my post, I can see how it'd be condescending...I should've known when you asked how long the wire is.

Anyway, yeah, truth be told they're not super long. I've attached a picture with a CR2016 battery for scale (sorry for it being a really blurry camera-phone pic).

EDIT: Also, those glowing pants sound pretty interesting. I'm kind of a newbie here, so I don't know all the important people or about projects like that...I'd be curious to see photos of them, if you have any handy.

Yeah, I lucked out at 1up, I lost my jacket, scarff and gloves... my friend rolled up at the end of the night with all my shit, and all of our other stuff as well. Was fantastic.
