hey to each his own ya know. we all have our preferences. I try and give everything a listen like ive listened to those bands like Whitechapel, Emmure, Etc etc but thats not my cup of tea
give me some old school shit where it takes skill and not trying to play as fast as u can like all these new bands that r coming out
well whitechapel suicide silence, etc are just plain shitty. but there are some good bands that get grouped with them, like animosity and the red chord. i dont really have any desire to hear anymore 4/4 one note breakdowns.

at one point even one was comparing ABRB to Animosity and it was clearly Animosity was the greater band

EDIT: i retract the statement where i said i like the new job for a cowboy, its pretty much garbage i listened to it cover to cover today..
suicide silence sounds exactly the same as they always have [referring to their new cd] which isn't a problem i suppose if you liked their old ALL open note straight breakdown music..

bdm got me into death metal! i dont listen to them anymore, but i have no complaints about what they play. plus i would totally smoke a couple bowls with them
im listening to both the new clutch and goatwhore right now...and both are pretty rockin! i would definitely give goatwhore a spin if youre into blackmetal/death metal blends and clutch if you are into quirky southern metal.
i've never enjoyed clutch, they're too idk growlie/party themed for me [if i'm thinking of the same band?] goatwhore is pretty good haven't really listened to them that much, i've been stuck on the faceless for awhile now, you just can't beat pestaliance, xenochrist, an autopsy, or leica!!

I was always into hardcore , i still like the music, but the scene is RIDICULOUSLY gay, so many douchebags 2 stepping and windmilling and shit, i can't hang.
