    We are a community of like minded artist who come together every year to make some thing special happen. Eternal is not your typical every day big budget fest with top 40 radio headliners, nor do we follow trends and principles of other mainstream festivals. We stay true to the Underground sounds that came out of the Chicago and Detroit Underground of the 80's 90's 2000's and today. With that in mind, you're always guaranteed a proper education in the history of dance music. No gimmicks, no bullshit, just proper beats.

    ========= ABOUT THE ARTISTS ==========

    Terrence Parker
    Detroit has been credited as one of the Soul Music capitals of the world, spawning legendary artists like The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross just to name a few. In the mid 1980s, Detroit's Underground Music Movement brought rise to a new genre of electronic music known as “Detroit Techno” pioneered by artists such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Blake Baxter, Eddie "Flashin" Fowlkes, UR, Jeff Mills, and a host of others. But unlike the aforesaid names, Terrence Parker has established himself as a label owner, producer, remixer and DJ of the classic sound of Detroit House Music, and is known as the pioneer of the music genre known as “Inspirational House Music” or “Gospel House”!

    As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones; causing some to give him the nick name, "Telephone Man". Others call him the "Telephone Man" because he has answered the CALL to bring us music to feed our souls!

    TP has his own label Intangible Records and has performed as a DJ in 30 countries (more than 200 hundred cities) throughout the world. These events range from night clubs (large and small) to music festivals with more than 100,000 people. Since 1988, TP has released more than 100 recordings on various labels with recent projects on Kingstreet, Purple Music, and has had top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High" (with 2012 remixes by Marc Romboy and Jimpster), "The Question" and albums like "Detroit After Dark" in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France.

    Terrence’s recent full album entitled, “Life On The Back 9” released in January 2014 on Carl Craig’s Planet E label in Detroit was rereleased as an expanded remix album in November 2014 on Defected Records in London. This album which in its debut reached number # 1 on the Traxsource Top 100 Albums Sales Chart, tells the story of how he was encouraged by his father to continue on forward by the struggles and challenges of life. The album features the writing contributions and vocal performances by Merachka, Coco Street, Kelly Gunn, Reno Ka, and features remixes by Carl Craig, Underground Resistance/Timeline, Louie Vega, Josh Milan, Monty Luke, Marc Romboy, Merachka, House Of Praise and Terrence Parker.

    Tim Baker
    Tim Baker, a highly respected international DJ and producer emits a striking devotion to the music he produces, plays and remixes. This native Detroiter has a creative style of Djing, which fuses the funk with menacing percussion for a dramatic and emotional experience. His insight and passion for Detroit techno and house music began advancing in 1984 when he received his first turntables. The music which motivated his early phase of Djing included Cameo, Parliament, the B-52's, Bauhaus, Tangerine Dream, and Brian Eno. In the city of Detroit, the creative energy of the times was just beginning to manifest itself into the musical phenomena of 'techno'. Baker's frequent visits to several Detroit underground clubs left a lasting musical impression on Baker. The uninhibited presence of new music fueled his eagerness to DJ.

    For the 21st century, Tim Baker will continue to uphold the repertoire of his labels by discovering innovative and creative talent. Tim extends his music capacity to new territories acquainting the world with his unique sound and vision. Tim's undeniable propelling force is to provide World Class DJ performances, incredible production and quality entertainment for the masses.

    Big Joe Hix
    Born and raised in Detroit, Joe Hix (Big Joe Hix) has been a house music dj/producer for two decades. Joe has occupied the booth at every major electronic music venue in Detroit, and many more across the country. He graced the stage at Movement as a solo act in 2008 and again in 2013 alongside his long time dj/producing partner, Paul (DJ Southside) as Midnite Jackers. You can find their tracks on every major digital site as well as numerous tracks on vinyl. Joe keeps the dance floor moving with a unique blend of house that you won't soon forget.
